That’s right, at about5:30pm Tuesday evening Brandy’s water broke while at home.  Its coincidental that yesterday we decided to have her let her employer know she needed to go on maternaty leave starting today.

By the time most of you will have read this the day will be Wednesday.  And by the time some of you read this, we will have the baby by then.

For now she has not begun active labor and its currently 11:40pm.  The doctor has her sleeping right now and he is monitoring her to see if she goes into labor naturally or not.  If not, between 6am and 8am they will administer pitocin to induce labor.  Which means she could be having the baby after that sometime.  Of course this is all assuming she doesnt have it between now and 6am.

We decided not to find out what the sex of the baby is until it was born.  So we have picked out two names.

For the boy: William Luke Myers

For the Girl: Abigail Rose Myers

We will keep you all up to date but for now I am going to sleep.  Good night.

***UPDATE***

Its morning (8am to be exact), Brandy hasnt had the baby yet. I got about 2.5 hours of sleep inbetween all the checks and rechecks and questions and answers and this person and that person coming in and out for whatever reason. Contractions became too painful so she opted for the epidural and she is also being induced. She’s sleeping right now. I should be too but I thought I would update everyone.
