Well finally!  After almost 3 years of trying my wife Brandy and I will be having a “Little One” born this year!

Yep!  We just found out a couple days ago.  While we still must have the a doctors visit to confirm, Brandy’s work (a walk in medical clinic) gave the test and it resulted in a positive. Lord willing all goes well and we will be introducing this world to a new born sometime from the end of August to the beginning of September of this year!

Its very exciting.  Brandy and I have been married for 6 years but have only begun trying to have a child 3 years ago.  People told us all the time that we would never feel ready so we resolved that God would work it out in his timing.  Even after beginning to try we could see Gods hand holding it back as if saying “not yet”.

Life has changed for us a lot.  Values, Ideals, Dreams, and Focus have all changed to bring us to this point. Lessons have been learned in the area of finances (the hard way I might add), and priorities (those being: will we put God first over our needs and let God be our provider?).  Its as if God said, “lets work on you both first, then when your ready, I will make it happen”.  Who knows there could be much more to learn in this area but I am hopeful for this year and our new arrival.

Its funny, it still feels like it hasn’t hit me yet.  Talking to one of my brothers he said that it never hit him until the baby was born but his wife had the awe come over here when she found out.  Maybe the same will be true for me, who knows.

Keep us in your prayers and God bless

Well, Congratulations to you and Brandy! That is good news. No, you are never ready…but God….

Hey if its a boy, I have the perfect name: Euripitese. Its Greek. No? Well, don’t feel bad. I’ve been trying to pawn that name off on expecting friends for over 20 years. Maybe someday… I am happy for you guys.

    Always,
    Bill

That’s AWESOME!! Congratulations!! When Megan got pregnant with our son almost 4 years ago, it didn’t hit me until I was standing in the delivery room frozen staring at the little miracle:) Even though it was planned, at that very moment I was terrified and thinking, “what have I done!?!?!?!” But that didn’t last very long. Nothing is more exciting than learning the new kind of love that comes with being a father, a love I never could have imagined before I was a parent. And to think that the love I have for my children is probably only a fraction of the love that God has for us!

    Congratulations!

I would have to agree with those who said (for the man) that it didn’t become “real” until the miracle unfolded before my eyes. But then again, it’s a miracle even now.

    Enjoy one another,

    God Bless!

    Phil
