Coasting Along

News

Posts have been dwindling off a bit, I know.  Work continues and it is providing well for improvements and doctor bills.  Brandy has had regular doctor visits for the baby and all appears to be good at this point.  She did have to go to the emergency room at one point a couple weeks ago for a problem with her heart rate.  She checked in with a heart rate of 205 bpm and it continued to increase while at the hospital to a point of 240bpm which had us pretty scared.  She was finally given some medication because none of the more natural options worked.  They figured out she had a disorder which she has had from birth but it doesnt show up all the time.  It has a fancy word that I cannot remember right now.  She was told that it could show up tomorrow or in 10 years.   Originally, she was diagnosed when she was young to have Asthma but when she told me that I never believed it because I never see anything resembling Asthma.   Now that this was discovered we both see it was “that” issue that they were misdiagnosing.  So she is doing well now and we have not noticed anymore issues.  She has some medicine in the event that it happens again and the exercises and stuff dont help first.

Many things are going on in the background here and I find myself wondering why I continue to pay for this site and make posts to it when I have a hard time doing it on a regular basis.  Then I think, well its a good way for my family to keep up with us since we live over a hundred miles apart and some of us as much as 13 hours a way.  Still I go to google analytics and see no one from those locations views the site and I wonder, okay, family doesnt care to look at this site so now what excuse do you have to continue it?  I have thought about it and have come to the conclusion that it is a place to practice.  It is a place where my writing can be published before it is any good and not run the risk of having too many critics.  The critics that do make a comment will care enough to make constructive criticism rather than just throwing out meaningless comments.  I have for the past 10 years wanted to write a book.  What about?  I dont know just wanted too.  I have started many times.  The outlines are not working very well right now.  Mostly because I am probably doing it wrong.  I will keep trying but until then I will write here.  My poem attempt went bad as I had not one view to my site in the time it was up…okay well one, me.

Two things are being worked on here.  We have got a lot done on the barn…sorry I dont have a picture.   I have begun the lean-to which is the same size as the barn, but only the one level.  Then there are the bees.  The tree bee hive is doing very well.  I found the queen and blocked her out of the ferrel comb.  They are producing some honey already.  The two nucs are doing well they are progressing well.  One thing is for sure, the two nucs are very aggressive.  I have been stung while kneeling 10 feet away from the hive towards the side of the hive.   I have to absolutely use smoke on those two hives.  The other bee tree hive, I have not needed to use smoke.

Well everyone, if you’re reading this, thank you.

Take care.

Just a few thoughts from an old man who enjoys your writings. Keep up the good work. Practice (your writing), Practice, Practice. Did you ride a two wheeler the first time you tried? Keep writing about your daily life and what you are doing. Make into the form of a journal (or diary). I love to hear about your gardening, building projects, bees, your family, and the new addition. Don’t be discouraged there are those who enjoy.

Father, please bless this young family. Hold them in the palm of your righteous right hand and keep them in your perfect peace and perfect safety. See the birth of the child through to a naturally healthy and happy conclusion and raise them up together as a family to walk close with you and with each other. Release your healing virtue into Brandy’s life and create in her a new and perfect heart, free of any concerns for health. Prosper them in all they do Father, and bring a continued richness of faith and determination to their journey. I pray you Father in Jesus’ name. Amen.
