Harrison was fun, but I began to get sick while I was there and I ended up leaving early.  Even as of writing this, I am still not back to par.  We played quite a bit on Friday, but Saturday was a big disappointment.

The McClurg Jam Session was fun because HK Silvey began to dig up a bunch of old good tunes I hadnt heard before.  He is going to record a few for me so I can learn them!

I will be playing with my band “Stringfield” this Saturday at 6pm at the Sparta Elementary school for a church fundraiser.  Also, before that, I will be playing solo (me and a guitar player) in an effort to sell some CD’s of which $7 of each CD is being donated to our church.  Anyone able to come by is strongly encouraged.  They will be having an Auction there too.

Well moving right along here, the barn is coming along and I have two sides up.  The boards that is (not the battens) and its only on the bottom section.  The planks have sever species of wood in the mix so its really tough getting the ring shank nails to go into the harder boards.

I got my shipment of bee hive frames in today.  So I decided to open the boxes up and place the frames into the freshly stained/sealed boxes.  I am doing my best to maintain only the all plastic (wax coated) frames to give me the most life out of each purchase.  Wood frames can be destroyed by wax moths but plastic frames cannot.  All you have to do is scrape the wax (the wax moths will sometimes destroy the wax leaving pieces still attached along with frass)  back down to the plastic and your frame is ready to be reworked by the bees.  These frames are more expensive so I have to be sure to have the money available before expanding.

I have placed an ad in the local Thrifty Nickel, which is a paper that people sell stuff from, to advertise my services to remove Honey Bee Swarms.  I am getting ready to place an ad for the bee equipment in several papers.  I am hoping to have a web page up first so I can place the address in the ad.
