Well I have finally finished the third episode of MyerstownTV. This ten minute segment covers the construction of my shed door to fit the custom door entryway.
I make no bones about it, I am not much of a carpenter. This episode you will see two errors that I made and how I had to fix them. Its somewhat embarrasing but I feel that someone else may make these mistakes if I dont show them. At least I can be an example of what not to do.
I tried to make this video a little more comical…not sure if it will be to y’all.
This video also shows some shots of the blacksmithing I did to make a handle for the door, which is at the end. I am a novice at blacksmithing but it is beginning to grow on me. Its extremely addictive…I think I got the bug.
There are a few people who want to see this forge fired up and running since I had originally posted a video showing its construction, many are curious how it works. The answer is, It works GREAT! With exception of the rare clump of sand becoming moltent and getting on the metal, the forge design works great and gets very hot!
Much of the forge design came from a friend in Springfield who gave me some pointers on how to make it right.
Hope y’all enjoy the video.
