Many of you may know I had previously made a CD and it was entitled “Nail that Catfish to the Tree”. This CD was the first compilation of tunes I put together and I felt that I had not really done the best I could do. As of a few months ago I stopped selling the CD and I began working on a replacement to represent what I believe is a closer revelation of the music of which I am a part. The previous CD was created in home entirely and was not what I have recently decided is my quality standard.
This new CD is entitled “Johnny in the Briar Patch” and contains 14 tunes of which two I have authored. The title is the name of one of the tunes I created the other is called Union Hill Waltz. With the CD comes a list of each tune and their history as it relates to the Ozarks. All of this is professionally produced at a local printing company so the quality is much better than before.
