With the a new direction firmly planted in my mind of the direction for my life, I have decided to start a new series of videos to document the progress of building a farm from the ground up. I took this idea from a guy who runs a website called Pockets of the Future where he has documented his farm, project to project. Everything from building a straw barn to milking his cow to moving to a new farm and starting over.
With that in mind, I have decided to spice up the videos a little bit….oh yeah! Okay, its really not going to be that spiced up but I do hope to have music and to cut out the unnecessary dead spots in video making. I hope to make the videos fit into at least 10 minutes. That may still be too short to show certain processes.
I had thought about having different segments of established content. For example: Intro, Old-OzarkLife (which would be a History oriented segment relating to farming as a whole), Today’s Project, Next Step (which highlights what needs to be done on the next segment), and Credits. What do y’all think? Don’t know what I would call it but maybe y’all could give me a few Ideas?
I don’t know what frequency I would produce a video. Most likely it would be dependent on what I am doing and whether I could or not based on time available. But I would like to shoot for one per month.
Well thats all I have for this post. If y’all have an idea of something to include in the videos as a regular basis (keep it clean and farm related please) let me know.
Take care.
