Hey Everyone,
I am excited to show off a couple of my Fiddle tunes. I have a couple that I have not recorded but they are still so rough its not worth showing yet. The ones that I have learned that I didnt record are called “Johnny Bring the Jug Around the Hill” and “Old Parnell”. They are getting better but still not “showoff” quality (which is a low quality for me…ha).
I am going to be going to a big festival this weekend at West Plains Missouri where there will be a lot of Old Time music and crafts. I will be camping out Friday night. It will be just like Cliff Top WV they say only on a smaller scale. I am going to try and take my camera and get some video for YouTube. Unfortunately I only have one battery so unless I can find a place to plug in the video may be kind of short.
Here are the tunes I have just learned. One I recorded after only knowing how to play it for a day but it was an easy one.
Jessie’s Polka:
Doc Brown’s Dream:
Bonaparte Crossing the Rhine:
Well I hope you enjoyed those. I hope you will check back for the video from the Festival. It should be pretty good. I hope to get around to other Jam sessions to hear others playing.
Take Care.
