At what point does it become repetitive to keep saying you have been busy? Well I have been and I got pictures to prove it. It was a long 3 day weekend that consisted of me getting the my house looking better so it will sell. My sister was down (from Independence MO) and she helped me paint.

The whole time we were staring at the sky because it looked like it could rain at any moment. There was one time it did while we were painting but we were able to close up shop quick.

The front porch I have been working on for over 3 years and its about time that it was finished.

The Porch has gone through several stages of “what should I do here?”. And, since I really didn’t know what I was doing when I started this, I did a lot of stuff that messed me up later.

And Now:

I built this Koi pond because I thought it was neat but it wasnt so neat to try to get it to stop leaking.

I got tired of trying to patch the Koi pond and decided to fill it in. And, also below is a group of pictures after a little bit of landscaping and I have the trim off the windows and doors. Also, there is a picture of the new trim that I built to replace the 2×4 trim that was there previously.

I have a few in progress pictures my sister felt necessary to take of me. One of the pictures she took to scare my mother (that would be the one where the ladder is propped by logs).

And below is the finished project that took 3 years to get done…whew!
