I posted a new video I thought was pretty neat so I thought I would post it here also, why, I dont know. But I thought it was a good idea.
Also to update I have welded my forge (sorry no picture) and I even reinforced the steel around the ash-dump. All I have left is to cut the hole for the ash-dump and get the parts for the ash-dump/blower assembly. I now have a blower (thanks Hayward) and all I need to do now is figure out how to mount it on my stand.
Here is the video I shot last summer during the Ozarks Heritage Festival at Missouri State University (MSU) which is the university I attended when I was a biology major (changed occupation). Now they host this event that includes Old-time music, Old-time Old-time dancing, Old-time cooking, Old-time blacksmithing, and Old-time crafts in general. It really is a neat place to go. I played in the numerous Jam sessions that were around. One place was called the Fiddlers Green this was a good place to show off to the crowd.
The fiddler here is Ashley Hull and she is my neighbor and Fiddle teacher (recently).
Here is the video
Well enjoy. Tonight is my Jam session and I am going to play my new tunes there for the first time….EEEEEEEEEEEK! Well it should go well I have been practicing a lot this week (more than usual) and I am going to try to get some video of it to post as the update to my previous blog post.
See ya
