Okay, I thought I would change things up a little here. Instead of showing the instrument I am working on… I thought I would play the instrument I am now working on. Confused yet?

Before I began refurbishing this fiddle I used to play it. However, because the scale (placement of the hand in first position on the neck) was off I had a hard time playing it so that is why I decided to take on this refurbishing project. While I was at it I decided that I would re-varnish it also. When I first got this fiddle it was in pieces and I put it together in the first place. So I have had it apart before this time so I felt confident in taking it apart again.
